World Peace University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sağsan visited the President of the Assembly of the Republic, Zorlu Töre.
According to the information provided by the Press Office of the Assembly of the Republic, at the reception held in the Assembly Hall of Honor, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the university, Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Maşlakçı also took part.
In his speech at the reception, President of the Assembly of the Republic, Zorlu Töre, stated that they found the establishment of a university named “Peace” meaningful in TRNC, and that they have always been in favor of peace in Cyprus and in the world, but some forces have always stood as a major obstacle to peace.
Töre stated that TRNC is a university country and students from many countries become honorary ambassadors of TRNC after graduation.
Speaking at the reception, Rector Sağsan said that they received approval in February under the auspices of Altınbaş Group in order to bring a new breath to TRNC higher education.
