World Peace University has once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by organizing an exemplary environmental event. On May 6, 2025, students, academic staff, and administrative personnel joined forces for a cleaner future by conducting a beach cleanup at the Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality beach.
The event, aimed at raising environmental awareness, fostering social consciousness, and protecting natural habitats, garnered significant attention. Volunteer students and faculty members from various departments gathered on the beach in the morning. Participants collected numerous plastic waste items, glass bottles, and other debris, making a substantial contribution to environmental preservation.
Academic staff involved in the project emphasized that such initiatives go beyond mere cleanup activities—they also serve to raise societal awareness. They expressed pride in seeing students act with a sense of responsibility toward nature and confirmed that similar events will continue in the future.
